The ZeroPercent app is iPhone only for now. But the part that matters most, reaching your people when your phone is gone, works in any browser on any phone.
What works on Android today
- Set up your own rescue in your browserIf you are 16 or over, sign in with your number at zeropercentapp.com/me, add the people you would want to reach, and set your Zero PIN. That is everything a rescue needs.
- Reach your people from any phoneIf your phone dies, borrow one, open zeropercentapp.com, tap the bright yellow banner along the top, and sign in with your number, your date of birth and your Zero PIN. Nothing to install, on their phone or yours.
- Be someone's trusted personYou do not need anything at all for this. When someone adds you, they send you an introduction. Text SAVED back once, and they can reach you if their phone dies.
- Join a family someone set up on iPhoneIf they send you an invite code, you can join from your browser. If you are 13 to 15, you can only join this way, and an adult in the family approves you.
What needs an iPhone for now
- Sharing your battery with your family, and alerts when someone's battery runs low.
- Creating a family and being its admin.
If someone in your family has an iPhone, they can set the family up and invite you. You get the rescue and they see you are covered.
